During the period October 1st - November 16th , we received feedback from many of you. On-line, libraries, St John’s Church, your favourite local hostelries and drop–in sessions at the Memorial Hall were all used.
I am happy to say that, overall, the draft Neighbourhood Plan has met with a mix of approving comments, constructive criticism and suggestions.
Amber Valley also arranged for a ‘Health check’ on the document to ensure conformity with current national and local policies. The opening comment from NPIERS (National Planning Independent Examiners Referral Service) says:-
‘The Parish deserves a lot of credit for preparing this Plan. There has been thorough publicity and consultation and it is clearly written’.
“So far, so good. What next?”
*We are incorporating the results of considering all the suggestions and
fine-tuning the final document.
*This will then be submitted to AVBC for an official inspection process.
* Assuming approval, a 6 weeks period is used by AVBC to publicly check that there are no outstanding issues.
*The pre-referendum Plan will, again, be available to everyone on-line on the Parish and AVBC’s web sites, in libraries etc.
*THE REFERENDUM DATE WILL BE ANNOUNCED SO YOU CAN VOTE. WE ARE HOPING FOR MAY - SO STAY TUNED!
